Experience the heart of Colorado’s unique history.

5-Day Tour. The Gold Rush of 1859 is at the heart of Colorado history. Immerse yourself in that history as you tour a working gold mine, visit many towns established by the gold rush - including the highest incorporated town in North America - and ride all three of the remaining narrow-gauge railroads. You’ll learn about Colorado’s pivotal role in the west and see the beauty that made people stay in Colorado, even after the gold ran out.
